Field Engineering Specialist

This non-exempt technical service engineering role offers a very competitive hourly rate with additional overtime compensation ranging from 10-20% additional income on an annual basis. Overtime is not required but is available, as desired, up to ~25%. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma AND 2-yr technical training or equivalent military MOS/Rating/AFSC or on-the-job training and experience
  • 3+ years of experience servicing complex mechanical systems and hardware
  • Strong technical aptitude, proven problem-solving abilities, good communicator, and a desire to help others



DAY-IN-THE-LIFE:

  • Perform both dispatched service calls and scheduled PMs
  • Participate in hardware installs, uninstalls, upgrades, modifications, etc
  • Provide hands-on proactive and reactive end-user mini-training
  • Liaise with customers on completed, on-going, and pending service events
  • Communicate with sales and other tech support personnel related to customer development and satisfaction
